Catalyst Directions COVID-19 Business Update
There has been a lot that has happened as a direct or indirect result of COVID-19. People are being encouraged to wash their hands to prevent the spread of germs, there has been a shortage of hand sanitiser, bleach and cleaning wipes, and other similar products.
A lot of business culture will be temporarily changed as companies start to deploy mandatory work-from-home policies, and travel and tourism will be affected as our government temporarily bans travel to certain places where cases of the virus are high.
During this time, Catalyst Directions will continue to trade as usual (same opening hours 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday). Our office has implemented a social distancing/virus mitigation plan as of the 16th March, to ensure the safety of our team and our valued customers. This includes no hand-shakes for the time being, hand washing in and out of the office for our staff and regular hand sanitiser use.
Should there be a mandatory business lock-down period in Bundaberg, we have the ability to continue business works from home which means we are still able to deliver all of our regular ongoing services as normal.
We will keep you informed if any further changes arise.
Keep your business safe during the COVID-19 pandemic
There is no doubt that this virus is serious. People are starting to self-isolate, businesses and schools are closing to prevent further spread of this virus and this is having a ripple effect throughout all industries.
Is your business one of those that may be affected during this unknown period of ‘shutdown’?
Now is the time more than ever to keep your thoughts clear and not panic. Yes, it is a state of emergency but a level head will always prevail.
The key advice that we would like to give at this point is to maintain communications with your customer base and keep them informed of your businesses mitigation actions. Ensure your opening hours are reflected on all online platforms (social media, Google Business Listing, website etc) as this will allow your customers to know when/if they can they still do business with you. If you are making plans to work from home, explain clearly in all instances how your customers are to engage with you.
